A quiet morning in Varnamtown sets the scene for the Morning Light puzzle by photographer Terrah Hewett. In short, this 550-piece jigsaw puzzle features a perfectly named trawler and a feathered visitor.
About the Artwork
A shrimp trawler rests at the dock in the soft morning light. Meanwhile, a feathered friend stops by to say hello.
Because it’s a photograph, the puzzle captures the real colors and textures of the boat, the water and the bird. In addition, the calm morning light gives the scene a peaceful glow.

Where to Start
Start with the border, then build the trawler, using its lines and rigging as a guide, since it stands out right away. Next, work on the bird. After that, piece together the water and dock. Finally, fill in the sky, sorting those pieces by shade.
