Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Puzzle

The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse puzzle by artist Lisa Cooper salutes the lighthouse at its original location, standing proud at sunset. In short, this 550-piece jigsaw puzzle is a beautiful Outer Banks scene.

About the Artwork

The black-and-white spiral stripes make the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse one of the most recognizable in the world. As a result, it’s a favorite for lighthouse fans.

In addition, it’s the tallest lighthouse in the United States. For generations, it has warned ships away from the Diamond Shoals.

The sunset sky gives the scene a warm, glowing backdrop. Similarly, the soft colors make the puzzle relaxing to build.

Where to Start

Start with the border, then build the lighthouse, using its spiral stripes as a guide, since it stands out right away. Next, work on the buildings and dunes around it. After that, piece together the sunset colors. Finally, fill in the sky, sorting those pieces by shade.
