The Lighthouses of South Carolina puzzle by artist Donna Elias features the lighthouses of South Carolina on a chartmap background. In short, it’s a beautiful 550-piece jigsaw puzzle.
About the Artwork
Each lighthouse along the South Carolina coast gets its own spot on this colorful design. Meanwhile, the chartmap background shows the coastline and waterways.
In addition, Donna Elias’s soft watercolor style gives every lighthouse a gentle, inviting feel. As a result, the puzzle is relaxing to build.

South Carolina’s coast stretches from the Grand Strand down to the Lowcountry. Therefore, its lighthouses guard everything from busy harbors to quiet barrier islands.
Where to Start
Start with the border, then build each lighthouse one at a time, using its stripes and colors as a guide, since it stands out right away. Next, work on the chartmap coastline. After that, piece together the water and map details. Finally, fill in the background, sorting those pieces by shade.

I have the Lighthouses of South Carolina. I have experience in putting together puzzles. This puzzle was purchased in Myrtle Beach area in the Old Time Pottery store. It is missing a fair number of pieces. I could not even finish one of the Light Houses, the house or some of the names. I am not looking for a refund or replacement, I just want to know if you have had trouble with this puzzle before?

Love this puzzle. It was fun to put together and is a beautiful graphic; nice enough to frame, but I’m going to pass it on to someone else so they can enjoy assembling it.
