Snow has fallen, and a friendly snowman patiently waits for you to join him in the Holiday Retreat puzzle by William Mangum. In short, this 550-piece jigsaw puzzle is a peaceful winter scene with plenty of holiday charm.
About the Artwork
The fresh snow and the cheerful snowman set a calm, welcoming mood. It feels like arriving at a favorite getaway just in time for the holidays.
The snowman gives you a bright starting point, while the snowy landscape around him adds a gentle challenge. Along the way, you’ll enjoy the quiet details of the retreat.
Like William Mangum’s other winter puzzles in our collection, it captures the restful beauty of a snowy day.
Where to Start
Begin with the border, then build the snowman, since he is the brightest starting point in the picture. Next, work on the retreat and any trees or details around it. These give you shapes and lines to follow. Save the fresh snow and sky for last. Sorting those pieces by shade will make the final stretch much easier.
