The puzzle is very pretty. However given that my family were lighthouse keepers for 3 generations at this location, the picture is backwards. The lighthouse is on the far right and to my knowledge there is no smaller house. The Friends of the Lighthouse organization will provide the correct information. Look up the Austin family lighthouse keepers for the correct information.

Hi Michael, thanks for your comments. We always like to hear from our customers. Unfortunately, sometimes the artist will use some artistic license in his paintings. The puzzle is not meant to necessarily be a historical representation of the lighthouse. So cool that your family was lighthouses keepers there, however.

I truly enjoyed working my lighthouse puzzle. I have visited this lighthouse so it brought back fond memories I can’t wait to work the others that I have ordered. I plan on framing all of the North Carolina lighthouses and hanging them in a bedroom.
Thanks again for the wonderful puzzles.

Great puzzle, it doesn’t matter if it;s correct or not. I bought it for the picture.

This is a beautiful puzzle. I cant wait to add to our collection that I share with my daughters family, as my grandchildren are learning to love working puzzles. I have to add that we have visited the lighthouse many times and my grandchildren & daughter have climbed it. In contrast to what Michael Austin posted above ….there IS a smaller white house on the property. This picture is very much true to the grounds other it’s missing the brick bridge. Maybe one day there will be another version with that sightline..in the mean time I will be enjoying this beautiful puzzle!!
