Sea Turtles of The World Puzzle

The Sea Turtles of the World puzzle by artist Dawn Witherington features all 7 species of sea turtles found in the world’s oceans. In short, this 550-piece jigsaw puzzle is beautiful and educational.

About the Artwork

The species are the Loggerhead, Hawksbill, Kemp’s Ridley, Leatherback, Olive Ridley, Green and Flatback. In addition, each one appears in multiple illustrations.

As a result, you can compare their shells, heads and flippers up close. Similarly, the details help you learn to tell the species apart.

Most sea turtle species are threatened or endangered, so learning about them is a great first step toward protecting them.

Where to Start

Start with the border, then build the largest turtles, using their shell patterns as a guide, since it stands out right away. Next, work on the turtles one species at a time. After that, piece together the smaller illustrations and labels. Finally, fill in the background, sorting those pieces by shade.
