Palms of the American Southeast Puzzle

The Palms of the American Southeast puzzle by artist Robert O’Brien features 34 palm and cycad species, both common and exotic. In short, this 550-piece jigsaw puzzle is a beautiful botanical guide.

About the Artwork

These plants are found throughout the Southeast, from Texas in the west to Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas in the east.

In addition, each palm is carefully illustrated with its true shape and color. As a result, it’s a great way to learn the palms you see on vacation.

Because each species has its own fronds and trunk, every one becomes a small puzzle of its own.

It’s a great choice for gardeners, plant lovers and anyone who loves the Southern coast.

Where to Start

Start with the border, then build the tallest palms, using their trunks as a guide, since it stands out right away. Next, work on the palms one row at a time. After that, piece together the smaller cycads and any labels. Finally, fill in the background, sorting those pieces by shade.
