Look for your favorite Florida vacation spot on the Florida Life puzzle by artist Kira Talerico. In short, this educational and fun 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle is a great vacation memory for young and old.
About the Artwork
Kira Talerico, also known as Map Mom, does a great job of representing many favorite things about the state of Florida.
From manatees and flamingos to blue crabs and turtles, the map is full of life. In addition, each illustration gives you a small, satisfying section to build.
Because this map covers the whole state, there’s plenty to discover. Similarly, kids will enjoy finding the places they’ve visited.
If you enjoy her style, be sure to look at Florida Coast and North Carolina Coast, also by Kira Talerico.
Where to Start
Start with the border, then build the outline of the state, using the coastline as a guide, since it stands out right away. Next, work on the illustrations one at a time, such as the manatees and flamingos. After that, piece together the town names and land areas. Finally, fill in the water, sorting those pieces by shade.
