About the Artwork
After hatching in the sand dunes, the young sea turtles head for the ocean. It’s a hopeful, heartwarming scene that celebrates new beginnings.
In addition, Lisa Sparling’s artwork brings the beach, the dunes and the tiny turtles to life with rich color and detail. As a result, every section offers something to enjoy.
The whole family is going to have a good time with this one, from the youngest turtle fan to the most experienced puzzler.
Where to Start
Start with the border, then build the baby turtles, since they’re the focal point of the scene. Next, work on the sand dunes they’re leaving behind. After that, piece together the water and waves. Finally, fill in the sky, sorting those pieces by shade.
