The Fishes of the Gulf of Mexico puzzle by artist Diane Peebles features fish species found along the Gulf Coast. In short, this 550-piece jigsaw puzzle is a very detailed, beautiful challenge.
About the Artwork
The species include both common and exotic fish found inshore, nearshore and offshore. Each one is carefully illustrated with its true colors.
In addition, the fish range from shallow-water favorites to big offshore game fish. As a result, anglers will spot many fish they know.
Because each fish has its own shape and pattern, every one becomes a small puzzle of its own.
Like Diane Peebles’s other fish puzzles in our collection, this design is accurate, colorful and suitable for framing.
Where to Start
Start with the border, then build the largest fish, using their shapes as a guide, since it stands out right away. Next, work on the fish one row at a time. After that, piece together the smaller species and any labels. Finally, fill in the background, sorting those pieces by shade.

Perfect Offline Gift/Family Activity/Educational Decoration!!!
Heritage offers 6 different puzzles that contain fish from different geographic locations. I have 4 children who are interested in fishing. We bought one for my 13 year old and before long all six of us (wife kids and I) were helping to complete it. We then framed it and it hangs in his room. Since then, we purchased the other 5 to give as future gifts. We gave, completed and framed a second one – which now hangs in another sons bedroom. Can’t wait to give and start another!!
It has been a pleasure to find something we can do without electronics that is fun, all inclusive and educational.
