I received this puzzle as a gift and it was awesome! Loved learning about the history using the Key provided. It kept me interested and I finished it on our week vacation. This puzzle is very well made with nice weight card board and the artwork is amazing.

I was a teacher in North Carolina (now retired) and when I taught 4th grade History, this puzzle would have been a helpful resource for the students. I had them construct a large relief map of the state out of papier-mâché which they developed with landmarks, cities and natural features. This puzzle helps to bring these features of the state to life.
It is my belief that there is a direct correlation between good puzzle builders and good readers. Both rely on keen observation and orientation of shapes.

I was a teacher in North Carolina (now retired) and feel that this puzzle would have been a useful resource when I taught 4th Grade History. The students created a large papier-mâché relief map of the state and developed it by indicating natural features, cities and landmarks. This puzzle would have been useful.
I also have observed a direct correlation between good puzzle builders and good readers. Both skills rely on keen observation and discrimination of shapes.

We will soon know more about North Carolina than we do about Florida because I live in a CCRC in Florida, with several hundred residents, and everywhere I have gone in recent weeks, one of the floor’s residents are making the puzzle. We love it. It is easy to see, and handle but it is challenging, original, colorful, and informative. Highly recommended

This puzzle is not only beautiful art work but an original showcase of what is in North Carolina.. It was a family project for us and since we are North Carolinians we were excited to see our famous landmarks emerge. We were so thrilled to see the finished project we could not stand to put it back in the box. It is now framed (easy to do) and hanging in our hall for all to see. A treasure!

A great puzzle to learn some NC history. As a somewhat newcomer to NC after spending over 60 years of my life in Maryland I enjoyed putting this puzzle together and getting to know a little more about my new home state.

I bought three of these puzzles, one for my grandkids in California and two for friends in Germany and Switzerland. It’s a perfect way for them to learn more about our state and it’s a sentimental remembrance of their visit to us in NC.

The puzzle looks very nice. I plan on sharing and working this puzzle with my grandchildren this summer. One grandson is a 4th grader and as they have studied North Carolina history this school year, I hope this will add to what he has already learned. We enjoy working puzzles together and I know this one will be very informative. Can’t wait to see the finished produce and show them the different landmarks in our great state of NC.

I read about this in my city’s local magazine and knew it would be a great buy for my boyfriend. We love doing puzzles, and have both lived in NC our whole lives so have enjoyed deepening our appreciation of the state. I gave this to him as a gift for his birthday and he was so excited to receive not just a puzzle, but something that both honors our state and so many places we recognize and love, and provide interesting history. There is always something new to learn! We haven’t started working on it yet, but know we will enjoy it when we do. I’d recommend this puzzle and the company to anyone!

Our family visited the Outer Banks last August, and my then 10-year old son chose this puzzle as his souvenir from our vacation. When he started 5th grade a few weeks later, he learned that his teacher grew up in the Outer Banks, so he had quite a bit to talk to her about. Then when the shut-down due to Covid-19 occurred, my son finally had a chance to do the puzzle. We worked on it together, and we really enjoyed it. The puzzle was challenging for both of us, and it was interesting to see the many landmarks represented. When it was completed, we took a picture and sent it to his teacher, who certainly recognized many of the landmarks, especially the lighthouses. She said it was such a cool puzzle and she should get one for herself. So we are getting this puzzle for her as an “End of the school year/thank you for being such an amazing teacher both in person, and through distance learning” gift. It really is a nice puzzle. The pieces are the perfect size. And the artwork is incredible to look at.
