Look for your favorite coastal Florida vacation spot on the Florida Coast puzzle by artist Kira Talerico. In short, this educational and fun 550-piece jigsaw puzzle is a great vacation memory.
About the Artwork
Kira Talerico, also known as Map Mom, does a great job of representing many favorite things about visiting the Florida coast.
From manatees and flamingos to blue crabs and turtles, the map is full of coastal life. In addition, each illustration gives you a small, satisfying section to build.
Because Florida has coastline on both the Atlantic and the Gulf, there’s plenty to discover. Similarly, kids will enjoy finding the beaches they’ve visited.
If you enjoy her style, be sure to look at North Carolina Coast and Georgia Coast, also by Kira Talerico.
Where to Start
Start with the border, then build the coastline, using the shape of the state as a guide, since it stands out right away. Next, work on the illustrations one at a time, such as the manatees and flamingos. After that, piece together the town names and land areas. Finally, fill in the ocean, sorting those pieces by shade.
