What a peaceful setting for A Smoky Mountain Morning puzzle by artist Teresa Pennington. In short, this 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle invites you to slow down and enjoy the view.
About the Artwork
Just picture yourself sitting in the rocking chair enjoying your morning coffee. Meanwhile, the mountains wake up in the distance.
In addition, Teresa Pennington works in colored pencil, building up rich color and fine detail. As a result, the image makes a great challenge.
Because the scene is full of small details, you’ll notice something new each time you sit down.
It’s part of her Smoky Mountain series, along with A Smoky Mountain Summer and A Smoky Mountain Harvest.
Where to Start
Start with the border, then build the rocking chair and porch, using their shapes as a guide, since it stands out right away. Next, work on the flowers and plants. After that, piece together the mountains in the distance. Finally, fill in the sky, sorting those pieces by shade.
