The Old Well puzzle by artist William Mangum features the famous landmark on the campus of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. In short, this 550-piece jigsaw puzzle is a treasured campus scene.
About the Artwork
The Old Well is one of the most recognizable symbols of UNC. Its classic domed roof and columns sit at the heart of campus.
In addition, students traditionally take a sip from the well on the first day of classes for good luck. As a result, it holds a special place in many memories.
William Mangum’s warm colors and loose brushwork give the scene a gentle, inviting feel.

Where to Start
Start with the border, then build the Old Well, using its columns and dome as a guide, since it stands out right away. Next, work on the trees and buildings around it. After that, piece together the brick walkways and grass. Finally, fill in the sky, sorting those pieces by shade.

Six old college roommates had the best time putting this puzzle together a few weekend ago! Much laughter and many memories were recalled! Heritage Puzzel Inc was a delight to work with and my puzzle came the following day. The puzzel is high quality and I would certainly buy again. I give them excellent marks!
